FIFA Club World Cup The FIFA Club World Championships is the football international association football event organized by FIFA (Federal Football Association International Association), the sport' international governing body. The competition was contested as FIFA Club World Champions in 2000 and relaunched in 2005, four years after FIFA's ISL partner collapsed. In the past year, it was run every two years in the USA, Mexico, Brazil.
